Katie Kingston, HIS
Hearing Instrument Specialist
Katie Kingston is a Hearing Instrument Specialist. Katie is originally from Metairie, LA and moved to Baton Rouge in 2009 to begin her education at LSU. She graduated in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders. Shortly after graduation, Katie started working at various hearing aid clinics in the local area and became a licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist in 2015. After taking a few years off to be a stay-at-home mom to her two children, she decided to go back to school to earn her master’s degree in Health Administration from LSU Shreveport. Katie joined the Audibel team in 2019 and was drawn to the profession because of her love to help people hear.
What Katie loves most about saving hearing lives is fitting new patients for the very first time. What many don’t realize is the decline of hearing is usually gradual and has taken many years to occur. Being able to slowly introduce sounds that the patient has missed out on for years is very fulfilling. Katie strives to set her patients up for success by offering continuous counseling so her patients get the maximum benefit from their hearing devices. Outside of saving hearing lives Katie loves spending time with her family and two dogs, cheering on the LSU Tigers, and embroidering clothes for her kids.
